Mysteries of Sephardi DNA

Were families who fled Spain after the Inquisition related to each other? Did they share common male ancestors? The Cohen gene?

Alain Farhi, who maintains one of the most extensive Sephardi genealogical websites, Les Fleurs de l’Orient, will reveal the findings of a recent DNA study of 50 individuals belonging to the Anzarut, Alhadeff, Bekhor, Capuya, Chitayat, Constantini, Dwek, Farhi, Gubbay, Lisbona, Marzouk, Modiano, Pisante, Rousso, Souroujon and Taranto families.
