Aden 1967: How the British rescued the Jews

Monday 5 June 2017, 7:30 pm. Fifty years since the outbreak of the Six-Day war, Nigel Grizzard will revisit the events leading to the demise of the Jewish community of Aden, and the role of the Lancashire Regiment in saving Jews from murderous riots. Nigel Grizzard is an expert on Yorkshire Jewry and became fascinated with the Jews of Aden after meeting Abraham Marks, who became CEO of the Board of Deputies. Suggested donation: £10.
